We can restore boat winches, cleats, bells, window frames, wheel house controls, port holes and just about any metal work parts.
The Boat Winch Process
As you can see the rope has worn away the chrome to expose the brass base metal. These original winches are made from good quality material and restore well and present better value for money than buying cheap chrome plated aluminium replacements.
Once we electro chemically remove the old plating the winch is polished to a mirror finish prior to re-chroming. With our experience and expertise we know not to polish smooth the centre so as to give grip to the rope unlike some of our competitors!
What you receive back is better than new and will last because of the quality of the base metal.
