We can restore a range of bathroom fittings from soap dishes to towel rails. The most popular are of course are taps. Taps need to be completely dismantled before any work can be done to each component part ensuring that delicate parts such as Hot and Cold porcelain discs are carefully removed.
The Tap Restoration Process
Typical bath mixer taps that have been dismantled stripped and polished ready for re-chroming.
After re-chroming the parts are now ready for re-assembly.
On assembly we fit each tap with a new tallow impregnated glands to stop any water escaping past the shaft.
We also re-cut the seats and fit new tap washers.
The finished item is ready to be installed by the plumber with the confidence that the tap will function as new and look better than original. This service goes far beyond a re-chroming service giving exceptional value for money compared to most other plating companies.
